Welcome to Ascend Lactation LLC where we understand that each infant feeding journey is unique. We strive to meet families where they are in their journey and to support them in their pursuit to reach their individual infant feeding goals. Our mission is to offer the highest level of care through collaboration with the family, and as an integral part of the healthcare team.

My Story

I am a military wife and mother of two amazing children.  The trials and tribulations of my own infant feeding journey left me with a calling to help others during this emotional and often difficult time.  I have personally experienced the rollercoaster that infant feeding can be. I also have the professional knowledge to help guide you on your journey.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I have a passion for helping families meet their individual feeding goals, while thriving in their parenthood journey.  My time volunteering as a labor doula and work in both postpartum and NICU Nursing have afforded me great experience in and compassion for working with families with unique goals and challenges.  I've been working in lactation since 2015, became an IBCLC in 2018 and hold a current 2023 certification. I have experience working in the inpatient lactation setting with both well babies and preterm/NICU babies. I also have experience in the outpatient and private practice setting.
